Trail Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dates, packed

  • ½  cup oats

  • 2 scoop grass-fed whey protein powder (I use unflavored)

  • ¼ cup hemp seeds

  • ¼ cup Tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2-4 Tbsp milk alternative

  • Optional: 1-1.5 cups almond pulp, from homemade almond milk 

  • 1 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or a mix), others would probably work too!

Directions:

  1. Blend dates in food processor*

  2. Add all the ingredients except for the nut butter, then blend well

  3. Next, add in the nut butter, do not over blend- just enough to mix well; add additional milk (1 Tbsp at a time), if need

  4. Form them into balls and keep them in the refrigerator to prevent the oils from separating
