Quick and Easy Homemade BBQ Sauce 

So many uses for this! It’s perfect for marinating, dipping and drizzling. Try it on veggie burgers, burritos, tacos, sandwiches, or dipping roasted root veggies 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 cup (24 fl. oz bottle) organic ketchup

  • 1/2 cup molasses

  • ¼ cup raw honey 

  • 3/4 cup raw apple cider vinegar

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 1/4 tsp black pepper 

Optional but recommended dried spices:  

  • 1 tsp red chili or cayenne pepper power

  • 2 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp paprika powder

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary 

Directions 

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together very well

  2. Pour into 32 oz mason jar and store in the fridge; it will last for many months


Per Every 1 Cup (8 fl. oz) ketchup

This is helpful to make a smaller batch or to easily double or quadruple to accommodate using a full ketchup bottle of any size :-)

  • 1 cup (8 fl. oz) ketchup

  • ¼ cup - mix of BOTH molasses and raw honey (I use more molasses) 

  • 1/4 cup raw apple cider vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce

  • ~1/2 tsp black pepper 

Optional but recommended dried spices:

  • ~3/4 tsp cumin powder
